This homemade macaroni and cheese have an unexpected ingredient that elevates it to new heights!
You Will Require
1 package elbow macaroni (16 oz.)
2 cans condensed Cheddar cheese soup (10-3/4 oz.)
2 quarts milk
1 1/2 pounds (6 cups)
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (reserved for topping)
3 teaspoons melted butter
1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 teaspoon sea salt
3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
What You Should Do
Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Spray a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Cook macaroni according to package directions, then drain and return to pot.
Stir in the other ingredients, excluding the reserved cheese.
Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and top with the shaved cheese.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until well heated.
